What is Pie Chart?
- A pie chart is a graphic description of data in the figure of a circular graph or pie where the elements of the pie show the relative sizes of data. Each of these divisions or slices denotes the proportionate piece of the entire.
- It is one of the most regularly applied graphs to design data.

How to Create a Pie Chart?
A teacher surveys her class based on the favorite color of trainees :

The data above can be represented by a pie chart as follows and by applying the circle graph formula, i.e. the pie chart method given below. It gives the size of the piece easy to follow.
Level 1: First, Insert the data into the table.

Level 2: Combine all the values in the table to get the result.
I.e. Total trainees are 40 in this case.
Level 3: Following, divide all values by the total and multiply by 100 to obtain a percent:
